H1N1

Yes, i can't deny that the H1N1 was a disaster
to my june holidays.
i couldn't get out of singapore
;D

recently, Singapore has approximately hit
1000 over cases which is really a big sum
because Singapore has a small population.
Hearing that it already has 1000 over population i was
utterly shocked
like "what?!"

the last time i knew were 100 over cases
and in a blink of an eye a additional zero was added to the sum .
which made it a 1000 over.
Practically i think that the H1N1 flu is only fatal to a group of people like
below 5 years old, above 65 years and and those which have complicated illness.
to the rest, it is just like a normal flu,
though schools are taking it really seriously.

For example,
taking temperature twice daily
and some schools even leading to the close of the entire school due to particular reasons.
tuition centres are included as well.

Back to the subject, many countries have been affected with the flu,
for example we have JAPAN, HONGKONG,INDONESIA, CHILE, AUSTRALIA, ETC.
This flu originated from Mexico.
I came to know that Singapore was also affected after a period of time
through a message that my friend recieved.

Doctors have came up with medicine to treat this illness with
TAMI FLU or RELENZA.
I can still recall when this flu just broke out,
it became the headlines of the newspaper almost everyday.
This H1N1 virus was the product of recombined human, avian and swine influenza virues.
I also heard from my yeachers that there is a H5N1 with is actually the dungue.
If this flu is to come in contact with dengue, the results might really be fatal.

Ending of my post, i hope
that this H1N1 flu will come to an end as soon as possible.

june hoilday.

june holiday was great.
due to the recent conditions of H1N1,
we were unable to visit other countries
first week of holiday, settled my
holiday assignments.

On the first day of holidays
had council training camp.
we explored the forset, leadinig us to bukit timah hill.
yeaps, it was a long walk.
yes, my team had lots of team spirit.
We even had to eat our lunch
with our hands tied to one another. It was really challenging.

played the computer.
first week was rather boring.
later went to
escape theme park with my aunt
because we had 4 free tickets.
Indeed, i enjoyed myself there.
we played from 11am - 530pm

We had cousin gatherings.
too.

Revising on my weak area was also
one of the things i did in the hoilday.
especially chinese which i was the weakest in.
had tuitions and more tuitions.

other then playing,
I had educational tours too.
towards the end of the hoilday, my mum decided to bring us to
science centre to look at the
DA VINCI, the genius -- exhibition.
It was interesting.
there was the facts of Mona Lisa painting
when i saw some facts, i was seriously stunned
before visiting the exhibition, there were things that i really don't
know about the Mona Lisa painting

although my june holiday seems a little boring,
i've learnt quite a few things.

hellos earthlings

okay since i have already introduced myself
at the left side of the bloq, i shan introduce
anymore=}

ok today i will be posting about the camp
i know its abit late but i just
created this bloq hahas
the camp has indeed bonded all of us together
overall it was fun but i was dead
-TIRED-
FIRST DAY~
i arrived in school at about 11am before that met Shiyin at the LRT
had to carry heavy bag filled with my camp items
ok seriously it was very heavy
after that we assembled in the hall while the facs get ready for us to leave school
i was like so dissapointed when my phone was taken away
-thats why no photo=p-
After that we took the bus to the camp site and was
later allocated to respective bunks
the bunk was small
after that we had ice-breakers
we played played played
we also had out bathe and the toilet situation was totally
-SICK-
no locks , millipedes were on the ground, and the toilet is flooded!
I was so fortunate to be able to see a closed up view
of a plane
-WINKS-
later at night we cooked our own maggi
it was quite ok but we could hardly finish it
after we learnt cheers
and had campfire planning
at 11 we all went to bed
and planes flew by

SECOND DAY
woke up at 530 but the facs asked us to sleep again
and to wake up at 6
then we had the NE hike
had to walk for like 5 solid hours
GOSH!
firstly we were all shuttled to CHANGI MUSEUM AND CHAPEL
we saw the japanese occupation times
i really felt so sad
then after that we had to WALK to CHANGI PRISON
the prison was fence up and covered when we reached, all i saw was green
panda leaves look-alike
after that continued our WALK to JOHOR BATTERY
that was a really long walk
we had out lunch there
after lunch we proceeded to a place called CIVIL DEFENCE
i cant remember visiting that place but since the facs said there was so i just write it=]
lastly we WALKED to CHANGI BEACH
same,i was dead
-TIRED-
return to school then we went for our bathe
the facs expect us 9 classes of girls to bathe in
1 HOUR!!!!!!!
banging on the door screamning,etc.
after that had dinner
cheer
sleep
planes flew by

THIRD DAY
woke up and had breakfast as usual
then later played the high elements
i OVERCOMED my fears
yipee
i played the balance thing
firstly i was like shivering-legs turned into jelly-
but when i started to walk on the rope i felt it was easy
it was indeed a great expericence for me
after that had lunch then proceeded on with
water rafting
we learnt how to tie our own raft
we took about 55 mins
then later we went into the water for the water confidence thing
it was a sad thing that we did not get to sail our raft
because the teacher said that alot of people were injured therefore
they cancelled the whole thing
-sad-
but nevermind
after that we showered
cheer, had dinner ,camp fire planing, then sleep
and planes flew past=]

FOURTH DAY-LAST DAY ~
woke up and had breakfast
then had we had area-cleaning
our class have to clean the
-TOLIET-!!!!!!!!!!
gosh!
me Xinrui, Zawati and yunjie cleaned the bin
but the bin wasnt any better
it totally stinks
after cleaning we assembled for debrief
then waited for the bus to shuttle us back

indeed this camp was a great experience to me
and i never regret going to it=))
